Pat O'Neal was born and raised in Valdosta, Georgia. He inherited his love and passion for good food from his father, Glenn O’Neal Sr., known to all who loved him as “Big O”. Pat's father owned and operated Okra King produce in Valdosta, GA for many years and later started O’Neal’s Country Buffet. Pat carried on his father’s legacy and opened the first Ole Times Country Buffet in Douglas, Georgia with a friend who has since passed away.
Today, there are 14 restaurants in operation owned by Pat O'Neal. They are located in Georgia, Alabama, and Florida. Including Smok’n Pig, a hometown favorite known for its delicious bar-b-que, and his mother’s namesake restaurant, Mama June’s Country Buffet.
Pat has 6 children who all work in the restaurants… continuing the family legacy. ❤️
